ZooVue helps Paignton Zoo celebrate 90 years with The Great Gorilla Project!

2013 sees Paignton Zoo reach its 90th anniversary and the zoo has chosen to celebrate by launching a project that will see life-size gorilla sculptures inhabit the streets of Paignton for 10 weeks throughout next summer. As part of a much wider campaign, the project will raise critical awareness of Cross River gorillas as well as showcasing local businesses and sponsors by driving footfall to the town. It will also provide much needed funds to help make a difference in saving Cross River gorillas from extinction. As a founding sponsor of Paignton's Great Gorilla Project, ZooVue is very pleased to be involved in supporting this critically endangered species.

'Here at ZooVue we support a variety of global conservation projects. We are pleased to be involved with the Great Gorillas Project as gorillas are a critically endangered species.' Mark Welch, Founder and CEO, ZooVue.

Positioned as the World's biggest virtual zoo, visitors to ZooVue can watch live animals, understand conservation projects and interact with a truly global community for the first time. In association with WAZA, ZooVue is also backed by fiNETra, the leading provider of LIVE cameras to zoos.
